EVENT RULES

Nukkad Natak
  1. Any attempts to help the participants through signs or any other means will invite a penalty of 10 points to the team to which the person belongs.
  2. The skit should be based on social awareness and convey a message.
  3. The participants should bring their own props (No material would be provided by the college).
  4. Clarity of dialogue delivery and quick change of scenes will carry additional weightage.
  5. No attacking on pastoral work, any committee or any individual’s life.
  6. Avoid using any conventional themes such as (child abuse,human traffic etc).
Nail Art
  1. The students need to bring their own material for the competition. College will not provide anything to them.
  2. Art should be done on 5 fingers of own hand or student can do art on another person’s (model’s) hand but that person is not counted as participant.
  3. Student is responsible for model. College will not help in providing model.
  4. Nails should not be polished before competition starts.
  5. No electrical/electronic/pictures/images would be allowed.
  6. Disclosure of identity by any means will lead to disqualification of the participant.
  7. Judges decision will be final.
  8. Student should maintain decorum else they will be disqualified during event.
  9. Participant who comes late for the event will be disqualified directly.
Hair Style
  1. The students need to bring their own material for the competition. College will not provide anything to them.
  2. Hair style can be done on own hair or participant can bring any other student as a model but model will be not be considered as participant.
  3. Student is responsible for model. College will not help in providing model.
  4. No electrical/electronic/pictures/images would be allowed.
  5. Disclosure of identity by any means will lead to disqualification of the participant.
  6. Judges decision will be final.
  7. Student should maintain decorum else they will be disqualified during event.
  8. Participant who comes late for the event will be disqualified directly.
Tattoo Making
  1. Participants are allowed to use color pens only.
  2. Tattoos will be made on only on wrist of participant or participant can make tattoo on any other persons hand (dummy) but that person will not counted as participant.
  3. Student is responsible for dummy. College will not help in providing dummy.
  4. The Participants need to bring their own material for the competition. College will not provide anything to them.
  5. No electrical/electronic/pictures/images would be allowed.
  6. Disclosure of identity by any means will lead to disqualification of the participant.
  7. Judges decision will be final.
  8. Participant who will come late will be disqualified directly.
SETG Star
    Round 1: OlxPeBech De
  1. This event will test the marketing skills necessary to promote a product given to the participants on the spot and they have to give a tagline for the same.
  2. Participants will be given 1 min to prepare for the same.
  3. The best performer will be qualified to the next round.
  4. Judges decision shall be final.
  5. Participants will be given 1 min to prepare for the same.
  6. Once the product is given, the participants cannot change it.
    Round 2: J.I.E.T Got Talent
  1. This round aims at exploring the talent of participants, by asking them to entertain the audience and the jury in 1 min.
  2. The participants can dance, perform mimic, act or do standup comedy,etc. (or any other way in which they can entertain).
  3. No obscenity shall be allowed.
  4. Performance shall be delivered within time limit.
    round 3: Questionnaire
  1. The participants will be asked three questions by the judges, based on their intellectuality and spontaneity.
  2. The best answer by the participants shall be awarded with the title of SETG Star.
Hands On Paint
  1. The students have to bring their own colors/paints according to their requirements.
  2. No brushes/stencils/ templates are allowed for creating any pattern or shape.
  3. Chart papers will be provided by college.
  4. The design must be completed in the given time.
  5. The decision of the judges will be final.
Bollywood Maniac (Antakshri)

    Preliminary Round – Knowledge Test

  1. This round will be conducted only if number of teams is more than 20.
  2. No brushes/stencils/ templates are allowed for creating any pattern or shape.
  3. Chart papers will be provided by college.
  4. The design must be completed in the given time.
  5. The decision of the judges will be final.
  6. Final Round

  7. There will be total 4-5 rounds.
  8. The rounds will be revealed on the spot.
  9. Questions will be based on Hindi movies/album songs and audio-visuals.
  10. Only Hindi movie/album songs are allowed in any round.
  11. No song can be repeated in the same round. However, you can sing the same song from any of the previous rounds.
  12. Some of the rounds will hold negative marking & relative marking in accordance with the quality of the question to be asked.
  13. If none of the participants from a team can give the correct answer, the question will be asked to the audience.
  14. The decisions of the judges will be final.
Sargam (Song Competition)
  1. Participants will sing the song of their choices.
  2. Participants will have to sing with track.
  3. Participants should bring their tracks in CD in mp3 format (2 copies).
  4. The CDs must be marked with name of participant's and lyrics. Tracks have to besubmitted to the coordinators at least two days before the event.
  5. Discloser of identity by any mean will lead to disqualification of the participant.
  6. Judges decision will be final and binding.
  7. Student should maintain decorum else they can be disqualified from the event.
  8. Participant who will come late are disqualify directly.
  9. No obscenity would be tolerated and participants may be disqualified for the same.
Knock The Tune(Dance)
  1. Different types of dance forms are invited.
  2. There is no restriction on usage of props. But it is not allowed to use any kind of Hazardous props.
  3. Team should carry their music in a CD which is in audio format. Every team should carry at least two CD`s. The CD’s must be submitted to the coordinators atleast two days before the event.
  4. Absolutely no recording equipment is allowed at the venue. This includes cameras, cell phones or any other recording device .Anyone caught videotaping will be asked to leave the venue.
  5. All competitors must be ready and report backstage 20 minutes prior to the start of their category.
  6. Marks will be deducted if time limit is exceeded.
  7. Contestants should be ready 1 hour before their scheduled time.
  8. Judges decision will be accepted as final./li>
  9. The participating group will be in charge of setting up and clearing the stage after the performance.

Rules for Finale

    • Only those teams which are short listed by their respective departments will perform at the prelims on 29.2.2016
    • Out of short listed teams a maximum of 12, 10 and 5 will perform in finale of Solo, Duet and Group dance competitions respectively on 3.3.2016
(a) Group Dance-
    • Each team of the group dance category has to perform in the Finale under the theme of “Colors of India “.
    • It may be either a folk dance/ depicting Indian culture/ religion / festival/ patriotism etc.
b) Duet Dance-
    • Each duet performance must be on one of the following :-
      • Indo-Western
      • Mirror-dance
      • Retro
(c) Solo Dance-
  1. The finale for solo dance will consist of 2 rounds.

Round 1-

  1. All 12 finalists of prelims will be divided in 4 groups each of 3 members.
  2. The grouping & song selection will be done by lucky draw after the declaration of prelim results.
  3. The time duration for dance performance in this will be 5 minutes.

Round 2-

  1. The final 4 winners of round-1 (01 from each group) will have to perform in round 2 on songs of judge’s choice. These songs would be from the 12 songs of the prelims except the songs of the four finalists.
Rangoli
  1. The students need to bring their own materials for Rangoli, for example Chalk, Colors etc. College will not provide anything to them.
  2. Only dry Rangoli colors will be allowed. Flowers/grass/natural materials/paint colors are not allowed.
  3. Use of stencils will not be allowed.
  4. No electronic pictures or images would be allowed.
  5. The size of Rangoli should not exceed the given block.
  6. Disclosure of identity by any means will lead to disqualification of the participant.
  7. In case participants exceed the time limit the judges will be free to disqualify her.
Mahendi
  1. Participants should bring their own material.
  2. No other accessories should be used. (Stencils, stones, glitters etc.).
  3. Mehandi is to be drawn below elbow (half hand only).
  4. Participants should not bring any images or pictures or electronic gadgets for help.
  5. Only 1 round will be conducted from which winners will be selected.
  6. In case participants exceed the time limit the judges will be free to disqualify her.
Fireless cooking
  1. Strictly vegetarian preparation will be considered. (Egg will not be considered vegetarian).
  2. The students will bring own material for cooking and preparation. Nothing will be provided by coordinators.
  3. No baked items and pre-cooked items other than boiled vegetables would be allowed.
  4. Each team will prepare 2 dishes and weightage for both will be equal.
  5. In case only one dish is prepared then the weightage will be half.
  6. Preparations of dish will be done on the spot. If participant bring anything prepared from home, they will be disqualified immediately.
  7. No participants are allowed to exceed the given time limit or else the team will be disqualified by the judges.
  8. Healthy and hygienic preparation with the proper presentation of the dishes will be appreciated.
  9. Note: Bread, Biscuits, Paneer, Spices and Namkin are allowed.
